Step 2: Analyze and check what can be combined:
- Sentence 1 and 2 mention funding. They can be put in the same sentence.
- Sentence 3 and 5 are not completely related, but can be combined if we mix the idea of the advanced technology that will be showcased in an upcoming event.
- Sentence 4 is on its own but we cannot afford to waste words on that. We will have to find a way to mix it in the content of sentences 3 and 5.
- The result is having two sentences. The first sentence covers the original sentences 1 and 2. The second sentence covers sentences 3, 4, and 5.
